Traditional Monacan Honeysuckle Basket Weaving

Members of the public are invited to observe a basket weaving workshop led by Bertie Branham, Elder of the Monacan Nation, and Lou Branham, Assistant Chief and Director of the Monacan Nation Ancestral Museum. Previously registered participants will work with freshly harvested honeysuckle to create their own baskets while gaining insight into the history and cultural significance of this traditional craft.
